This class will cover what it means to be a Presbyterian and Reformed Church. We'll share the history of Redeemer, as well as our mission and vision for the future. We'll also let you know what to expect if you pursue church membership at Redeemer as well as how to start the membership process.

Middle School Retreat Day
7th and 8th grade students are invited to join us at the Welsh Farm in Oxford, NC for a day of learning, fellowship, and fun!
We'll start the day looking at what the Bible tells us about friendship, enjoy some great food, and spend the afternoon playing outdoor games and enjoying the farm!
Rides to the farm will be provided by volunteers. If any parents would like to drive or join us for the day, please let us know below.

Good Friday Service
Join us for our Good Friday Service on Friday, April 3 at 6:30 p.m. in the Sanctuary. The service will last about an hour and childcare will be available for infants through 3-year-olds.

Mark your calendars & bring a basket! On Saturday, April 4, at 10:00 a.m., our Children’s Ministry Team will be hosting an Easter Egg Hunt on the back lawn. There will be all kinds of fun activities for the family, including face painting, a story corner, crafts and more! Easter Egg Hunt for toddlers through 6th grade.

VBS is June 15 - 19 from 9:00 am to Noon each day.
The theme is “Space Mission.” PROPEL YOUNG ASTRONAUTS to new dimensions in their relationship with God as they time travel through the Book of Genesis to discover the wonder of redemption aboard the “Ark” of eternal salvation, Jesus Christ.

Men's Chili Cook-off
Join us for a Men’s Ministry Chili Cook-off!
Saturday, February 28 | 5:00 - 7:00 p.m. | 242 Room
Contestants can bring their best version of chili to the cookoff, and we will set up table stations where everyone can sample. A winner will be decided with a prize handed out.

Women's Ministry Galentine's Event

All ladies, high school age and older, are invited to our Women's Ministry Galentine's Event on Thursday, February 26, from 7:00 p.m. until 9:00 p.m., in the 242 Room at Redeemer.
We will gather together and enjoy catching up and connecting. The women's council will provide a lemonade/sparkling water bar with flavor and fruit mix-ins. If you'd like to bring a sweet or salty/savory snack to share, sign up below.

Souper Saturday & Knit
Time to get cozy and catch up with friends, new and old, after the holidays! We're having a soup potluck lunch on Saturday, January 3rd at 11:30 and will teach basic knitting and start on a simple dishcloth pattern.
Christmas Eve Service
Our Candlelight Christmas Eve Service will be at 4:30 p.m. and 6:30 p.m. on Wednesday, December 24. The services will be identical and last about an hour. We have candles for everyone. Flameless candles will be available for our younger members. There will not be childcare during the Candlelight Service. Children are welcome in worship. The 242 Room and the nurseries will be open and available for families to use.
Lessons & Carols
Sunday, December 21 at the 8:15 and 11:00 am services. This worship service will intersperse Scripture readings from the Old and New Testament with familiar Christmas Carols and will end with a sermon.
Christmas Dinner
Christmas Dinner | Saturday, December 20 | 6:00 pm - 9:00 pm
This is a festive evening for adult members and friends of Redeemer. (Childcare will NOT be provided.) Appetizers, salad, a full buffet dinner with a carving station with beef tenderloin, and dessert will be served.
Cost is $35 per person now through December 1. ($40 per person December 2-14.)
Please note: Due to the limited kitchen space, registrations are capped at 120 people. Deadline to sign up is December 14.
Student Ministry Christmas Bonfire
We will meet at Redeemer and drive up together for an evening of games, food, and s’mores! You can sign up here!
Cocoa and Carols
On Sunday, December 14, from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m., join us for a night of church family fun as we drink cocoa, sing carols, and watch a Charlie Brown Christmas. We'll also participate in a reading of the Christmas Story.
Come in your festive Christmas sweater. Kids are welcome to wear Christmas pjs.
Young Adult Christmas Party
Mark your calendars! We’ll be gathering for a festive evening on Sunday, December 14, at 5:00pm. Don your favorite Christmas sweaters (bonus points for Ugly Sweaters!) and join us for gingerbread houses, appetizers, games, and Christmas cheer. Bring a bag of candy! Women’s Ministry: Refugee Hope Partners Holiday Party
Redeemer Women’s Ministry is helping Refugee Hope Partners this holiday season. RHP is having their holiday party for the kids in their homework help program on Wednesday, December 10th from 4:30-6pm at their office (6625 Falls of Neuse Rd #015, Raleigh, NC 27615).
The staff could use our help with providing dinner (pizza - every kid's favorite!), drinks, desserts, and leading a simple craft (decorating ornaments). There will also be a round or two of bingo we can help the kids with.
We'll need 10-15 helpers to make this event a success. If you can't make it in person but still want to help, we'd love help with funds for the pizza and drinks (venmo or send a check to the church office) or desserts can be dropped off at RHP earlier in the day. Thanks for sharing the joy of the season with these kids!

Food Bank Service Day
Redeemer Men’s Ministry will be serving at our local food bank on November 15 from 1-4pm. If you’d like to serve, please contact the office to get signed up.
Middle School Day of Fun
We’ll meet at Redeemer at 3:30 p.m., go on a secret itinerary of fun activities, and then meet back at Redeemer for pizza and pick-up later that night. We could use a couple of parents to come along as drivers. Please sign up no later than noon on 11/5. You can sign up here!

This year’s barn dance will feature a live performance from Cuttin Grass Bluegrass, a local bluegrass band.
If you’d like to come up earlier to the farm, the gates will be open at 2 p.m. The farm will be open from 2 to 5 p.m. for fishing, hiking, touring the property, playing games and socializing. (Food and drinks are not available until 5 p.m., if you come early, remember to bring a snack and/or drink.)

High School Fall Retreat
Our High School Fall Retreat will be on October 10-12 at Camp Caraway in Sophia, NC.
We’ll join other churches in our area for a weekend of fun, worship, and teaching from God’s Word. Alec Colton, the RUF Campus Ministry for App State, will be coming to speak to us. The cost to attend will be $200 per student. If the cost is prohibitive, please feel free to reach out. We can discuss possible payment plans or a small fundraiser if needed.
