Is Jesus really enough? Facing false teachers who added rules, rituals, and secret knowledge to the gospel, Paul writes to the Colossians with a bold answer: Christ is supreme over all creation and sufficient for every need. In Him alone we find forgiveness, freedom, and fullness of life. Join us this quarter in the 242 Room as we work through this compact but powerful letter, discovering how the same truths that anchored a first-century church under pressure still anchor us today.

Connect Your Work to God’s Work: Adult Class Book Study

Many of you have probably heard of the “Sunday-Monday Gap,” where your Sunday worship bears little relevance to the issues you face in your Monday workplace hours. It can be easy to live bifurcated lives in which your faith and work seldom seem to connect. We would love to help connect your work to God’s work by having an Adult Class book discussion on Dan Doriani’s short book “Work that Makes a Difference.” This would be a little different format than normal Adult Class’s at RPC:
1) You will need to sign up (limited to first 30 to allow more discussion)
2) You will need to buy the book ($15 on Amazon)
3) You will need to read a chapter a week in preparation (average 12-page chapters).
The class will begin on Sunday, September 13, and run through November.

I John: Relying on the Love of God

College-age Sunday School is back for the summer! Starting May 17th, join us as we dive into 1 John and consider how a rich understanding of God's love prepares us to thrive in times of stress. This class is a great opportunity to grow in community and faith over the summer months—and there will be donuts.
