We believe this time will be valuable and transformative. Block these nights off on your calendar. Saturday’s session will include a light breakfast and salad lunch. Summary “God has called His people to take His message of love – to show the kindness of God – to a lost and broken world. We understand God’s call; but when we consider the cost of serving lost and broken people, we are often tempted to rationalize our way out of the call” (J.Derrick). Come join us in the true story of 2 Samuel 9 as Jane Derrick, PCA Bible teacher from Asheville, explores the basic principles of what it means to be a risk taker in the Body of Christ. We’ll talk about: The differences between God’s and culture’s definition and display of kindness. Recognition of and belief in God’s kindness to us. Risks David took to show kindness to Mephibosheth. The promises David made to Mephibosheth. The promises of God through Jesus to us. Opportunities to be vessels of God’s kindness to each other and to a lost and broken world. Bring your questions and concerns and leave with practical advice on living God’s truths that you can apply today.
